Nusta Rite for Energy Balance, Release & Restoration Chumpi Stones from the Sacred Valley, Peru Judith Andrew, Nusta Rites Facilitator The summer of 2016, I was fortunate to spend 10 days in the Sacred Valley in Peru. Everyday we went to the sacred Inca sites and learned the Nusta (feminine) rites, taught to us by the Shaman from the high mountains. The rites honor the sacred mountain spirt, the Apu's. Each of the 7 mountains correlate to each of the 7 chumpi stones. Chumpi's are usually hand- carved alabaster by the shaman while meditating and thus carry their spiritual energy. The chumpi's assist with releasing stress and tension, headache relief, promote concentration, ease anxiety, and benefit the nervous system. The chumpi's are used in the first rite, honoring Mama Ocllo, the Red level of the Rainbow Path to connect with Lake Titicaca and to receive the seeds of light into the 7 Nawis/Chakras. These rites are quite sacred to receive and be able to share. Mama Ocllo is the main and first Nusta to come to earth, the daughter of the Sun (Inti Taiti) and the Moon (Mama Quilla). She came to earth in a ball of fire and landed in Lake Titicaca. Her mission is to harmonize the energies of the earth and bring masculine and feminine into balance. The traditional chumpi's are hand carved in alabaster with the Peru symbols of the 3 worlds, serpent, jaguar, hummingbird, eagle, the sun, moon, stars and kintu's. My set was purchased directly from the Shaman who taught us the rites, what energy! The Rainbow Chumpi's are truely unique, designed by Sacred Pathways, Inc, where I spent 5 days at a Shaman Gathering this past March, 2017. They are made of Jasper, Carnelian, Sunstone, Amazonite, Angelite, Sodalite and Amethyst. Such color, chakra and chumpi energy! You can choose your chumpi's - traditional alabaster or Rainbow Chumpis. ​ The session begins with prayer and meditation, followed by installing bands of power into the 7 chakras and luminous energy field with the breath and chumpi's. Then the chumpi's are placed onto the 7 chakras, for deep releasing of negative energy, fears and experiences, followed by bringing in light and healing for light body & energy balance and harmony. The result is an intense sense of peace and well-being, with insight and inner wisdom.
