Mindful Meditation

Weekly posts about monthly Mindful Meditations, 2nd Wed of the month, 7:15-8:45, after yoga, 6-7:15 PM. Cost $15, if you also attend Yoga, $10.


Mindful Meditation is a calm and peaceful way to begin your day. Spend a few moments in quiet breathing, gently in and out. Count to 4 to inhale, exhale to count of 5. Do this several times, then resume normal breath. Allow your mind to settle and sense your breath filling your heart center. From your heart center, sense and feel what you are grateful for in your life. Focus on that for several minutes. Then repeat the breath pattern, inhale for count 4, exhale count 5.
