Meditation & Nature

Updated: Dec 20, 2018

For the past 10 days I have been visiting family in Oregon and Colorado. My love of nature must be in our genetics because my family is the same. Every morning Sarah and I walked in the woods: Gabriel Park, Portland with my brother and sister in law, and the West Hills, Portland with another sister-in-law. In Colorado with my nephew. we revisited Red Rock and the amazing theater, and hiked Pence Park, outside Denver,  up a mile for the amazing view above.

So today and everyday, can you spend just a few minutes or an hour hike in Nature? There are limitless parks, beaches, trails and walks in our area. I would love to hear about your favorite places. I challenge each of us to spend time outdoors.

Meditation and Nature have been proven to lower blood pressure, decrease depression, stress, and anxiety, bring a sense of peace, slow the busy mind and allow for more creativity and better decision making.

What is your favorite Park, Trail, Beach, Meditation Spot?
