Time for Family....

My daughter Sarah and I are currently in Portland Oregon visiting family. I have 6 siblings and 14 nieces and nephews, plus all the spouses and children. Many to visit. This is my mom, 91 years old. She is an amazing and strong minded woman. Wonder where I got that from? I am practicing patience, moving slow and doing things she wants, not necessarily my choices. I realize how important it is, to just listen to my mom, be grateful, move at her pace. So my thoughts today are about reaching out to family, taking time to plan something together, maybe just making a phone call to check in. We get so busy and wrapped in out lives. Check  in, walk in the woods....
